The Oklahoma Securities Commission collaborates with the University of Oklahoma OUTREACH to create a series of award winning securities fraud documentaries and informational videos developed to educate Oklahomans on the methods
of securities fraud scams and securities fraud prevention. These powerful documentaries profile some of Oklahoma’s most recent
securities fraud cases; using eyewitness accounts, dramatizations and actual events as they occurred.
“Anatomy of Fraud: Catching a Con in Pottawatomie County” (2004):
A 28 minute documentary that
exposes the intricate workings of a classic Ponzi scheme by profiling one of Oklahoma’s multimillion-dollar securities fraud cases
run by William “Bill” Hickman, Sr. of the Hickman Agency in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
