Invest Ed®STARS Students Achieve National Recognition
Spring 2010 several Invest Ed®STARS teachers participated in the National Financial Capability Challenge co-sponsored by the US Dept.
of Treasury and the Dept. of Education. 76,892 students participated from 1,535 schools. National average score was 70%.

Invest Ed®STARS Students Achieve National Recognition
The US Department of Treasury
http://flc.treas.gov sponsors the National Financial Literacy Challenge, a new program recommended by the
President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy. In its initial semester spring 2008, 46,000 students in 2,000
high schools participated. STARS teachers were provided the option to register students for the fall 2008
Challenge. Students who score in the top 25th percentile receive Certificates.
