Town Hall Meetings

The Invest Ed ™ Town Hall Meeting series was created to educate Oklahoma citizens about the pitfalls of investment fraud. Town Hall meetings were held state wide through the month of May 2006 in the following ten Oklahoma cities; Ardmore, Bartlesville, Edmond, Guymon, Lawton, McAlester, Oklahoma City, Norman, Tulsa and Woodward. AARP Oklahoma was the 2006 Town Hall Meeting partner and presented a segment on Identity Theft.

Topics covered during each two-hour Town Hall Meeting session, included the Top Ten Types of Securities Fraud, How to Protect Yourself from becoming a victim of Securities Fraud, and a highlight of some of the biggest fraud cases in Oklahoma history.

The Town Hall Meeting series will continue in 2007. If you would like your city to host a Town Hall Meeting, please call Chris Elliott at 405.325.3388.
